Porcelain Veneers

If your teeth are discolored, improperly aligned or misshaped, then porcelain veneers may be the best solution. A porcelain veneer is an extremely thin, ceramic covering which bonds to the front of the tooth. A porcelain veneer visually improves the look of the tooth while also strengthening it. Veneers are therefore used to aesthetically enhance the tooth and/or protect a damaged tooth surface. Veneers are a good alternative for teeth that resist whitening procedures while also giving the appearance of straight teeth. Other advantages of using veneers include their long-term ability to provide uniform shape and color while resisting staining.

A variety of veneers are available to suit your particular needs. Dr. Harrell will consult with you to determine which option is the best choice for you.

Lumineers By Cerinate is a good choice if you want permanently white and perfectly aligned teeth, but you don’t want your existing teeth to be reduced or altered before the veneers are bonded to them. They are contact lens-thin and convenient: no temporary veneers need to be placed on the teeth after impressions are made, unlike other veneer treatments. Your original natural teeth remain intact underneath the lumineers.

DURAthin veneers, like Lumineers, don’t require any removal of enamel. These veneers are an excellent option for patients who have small teeth, narrow smiles or who have had teeth extracted for orthodontic reasons and have small gaps that have been left behind. DURAthin veneers can also be removed and still leave your original smile intact.

Da Vinci Veneers are considered the designer brand in veneers. These veneers offer ultimate quality in achieving a natural appearance and blending in with the remaining teeth. Buffing is required before the veneers can be bonded onto the teeth, but they are 99% as strong as your natural tooth when finished. These veneers are a bit more of an investment, but they are truly the ultimate in veneers. This is our most popular procedure and we have placed thousands of Da Vinci veneers over the last 10 years.
